Glostab is universal organic stabilizer especially designed to control the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide during the bleaching process in the Cold-Pad-Batch immersion bleach, continuous and discontinuous applications for the textile madeom CO and it's blend.

Stabilizer for peroxide bleaching

Heavy metal ions and certain other impurities catalyse the rapid decomposition of the perhydroxy ion to molecular oxygen, which has no bleaching action, and water. Stabilizer are used to retartd decomposition of the perhydroxy ion that is responsible for the bleaching action, and to maintain a high oxidation potential throughout the whole bleaching process. Glostab stabillises perhydroxy ion and eliminates problems arising due to water hardness. The application quantity depends on the peroxide and alkai concentration. As guidelines, the following below are the application quantity of Glostab:

- The exhaust process of piece goods on winch beck, jets and overflow dyeing machine, of yarn on package, hank machinery and loose stock on batch dyeing machinery : 0.05-0.15 mL/L

- The cold-Pad-Batch process : 1.00-2.00 mL/L.

Glostab is available in drum 200 kg and IBC 1000 kg packaging
